Machine Death 4k is a Wallpaper Engine scene animated by SlapChips, based on original artwork by Sony Wicaksana. The centrepiece is a detailed mechanical skull — weathered metal, exposed gears, and a striking red bird perched on top — rendered in a high-contrast black, white, and red palette against a near-black background.

The artwork has a dark fantasy and gothic illustration quality to it. The linework is intricate and heavy, the kind of piece that rewards a second look. It suits dark-themed desktop setups naturally — paired with a dark taskbar, minimal dark Rainmeter skins, or a full dark mode system, it fits without effort. The red accents give it just enough colour to stop it feeling cold.
